I actually had a wee revival of hope today. The nasty-minded, mean-spirited, egregiously unconstitutional Constitutional Amendment on Marriage was....yes...DEFEATED in the Senate. Defeated. Some interesting statistics on that....the last time the Amendment came up for a vote, in 2004,  it went down to defeat 50-48. This time it was 49-48. They lost ( Read more... )
